Henry Herz edited the dark fantasy anthology, BEYOND THE PALE, featuring stories by Saladin Ahmed, Peter Beagle, Heather Brewer, Jim Butcher, Rachel Caine, Kami Garcia, Nancy Holder, and Jane Yolen.

His 13 traditionally-published adult horror/humor anthology short stories are: “Gluttony” in CLASSICS REMIXED (Left Hand Publishing), “Sins and Virtues” in ANGELS (Black Hare Press), “Zombie Sonnet 43”, “Forbidden Love”, and “Blind Date” in MONSTERS (BHP), “Ghost Father” in BEYOND (BHP), “All the World's a Shipwreck” and “Lend Me Your Arms” in 100 WORD ZOMBIE BITES (Reanimated Writers Press), “The Zombie Brigade” in APOCALYPSE (BHP), “Leviathan” in FORGOTTEN ONES (Eerie River Publishing), “O Captain” in OCEANS (BHP), “Four Fab Physicists” in STRANGELY FUNNY VII (Mystery and Horror, LLC), and “Zombie Oliver Twist” in 100 WORD BIGGER ZOMBIE BITES (RWP).

Henry authored 11 traditionally-published children's books: MONSTER GOOSE NURSERY RHYMES (Pelican, 2015), WHEN YOU GIVE AN IMP A PENNY (Pelican, 2016), MABEL & THE QUEEN OF DREAMS (Schiffer, 2016), LITTLE RED CUTTLEFISH (Pelican, 2016), CAP'N REX & HIS CLEVER CREW (Sterling, 2017), HOW THE SQUID GOT TWO LONG ARMS (Pelican, 2018), ALICE'S MAGIC GARDEN (Familius, 2018), GOOD EGG AND BAD APPLE (Schiffer, 2018), 2 PIRATES + 1 ROBOT (Kane Miller, 2019), THE MAGIC SPATULA (Month9 Books, 2020), and I AM SMOKE (Tilbury House, 2021). Three of his children's short stories will appear in Highlights for Children: “Born to Dance”, “Maria & Maslow” (with Livia Blackburne), and “Pay the Piper”.
